This was a christmas gift for my fiance. He installed them in his jeep a couple of weeks ago. I asked if he liked the speakers and he said that he did and I think they sound good. I’d say if you want a good speaker at a good price these are a good purchase.

These sound great. They don’t have a lot on the low end, but they are 6 1/2″ speakers – what do you expect? Overall sound quality is very good, especially considering these are slim mount speakers.

I needed an adapter ring that is included in the DB651. Really should have been supplied. Nice highs a little weak on the bottom end. Go for the DB651 if you have the room. Other wise speakers are very good.

The speakers are very durable. My son threw a snow ball into the car and nailed one of the speakers. No damage to the speaker. Still sounds great.

A better speaker is Polk DB651. same speaker just a little bit bigger and better lows.

I had these speakers installed in my 2000 Toyota Tacoma 2 weeks ago. I have always admired the Polk Audio brand so I went with them after reading other reviews. I love the bright sound they produce. I am not really in to thump thump thump so these had plenty of bass for me. I have these hooked up to a Pioneer 6100 head unit. I am extremely pleased with these and recommend them to anyone. I had a friend suggest having a sub hooked up to my head unit. As I said before I am not into the thump thump thump but I believe if someone is these polks plus a good sub would make an excellent system.

I was also surprised how fast Amazon got them to me up here in Alaska. They arrived in perfect condition.

Got these to replace the wimpy factory ones for the 2009 Jeep Unlimited. The difference was short of amazing !!! Need to give them a little time to “break in” and they just keep getting better. The price can’t be beat here. Highly recommend.
