I bought this item and very impressed for the most part. It was easy to install. It had good sound quality and the CD player actually worked unlike other brands that i bought in the past (Jensen). The USB input did work for my ipod. But once connected it didn’t let me play/control individual songs from my ipod. It would only let me play the uploaded songs from a track list on the salamander s6000 front screen. Also the songs were playing randomly from different albums and were not in order. Other than that drawback it is a pretty good car stereo and plays almost anything but may have some issues with your ipod.
