Decent quality sound, can buzz a bit if turned up too loudly, but I also don’t have a spectacular sound system in my car. Definitely does it’s job and is worth the money.

I needed a new car adapter for my iPod, and because of the mostly favorable reviews on this unit I purchased it. This morning was the second day of use-pushed it into my car’s cassette player, heard grinding noises and now it is jammed in the stereo and will not eject. I currently don’t know if the cassette player will ever work again or if it is toast. I’m trying to figure out how to get the thing out of my player to see if the player will work again. DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER. Very, very unhappy!!

This thing worked great for about three weeks and then it started skipping and eventually quit working altogether.

Lousy sound quality. It’s ok for things like podcasts of radio programs, but for music and songs, it’s just horrible. I’d rather buy a more expensive version of this thing, but most of the kinds I found on Amazon are within the same price range. I gave it 5 on ease of use, you just insert the tape in your car stereo.

I purchased an adapter from Wal*Mart that I used for 3 years before it finally started sounding horrible. The second day I had this one it sounded even worse. I am extremely disappointed and will never order something like this online again.
