If you are low on space and just want more bass in your ride then this is a good option. I had two of these in a sealed box and were powered by a 750 watt amp and they hit pretty good for 8 inch subs. So these are a good buy, no worries about these.

    Good luck

OK, I bought on of these subs to put in a tube in my girlfriends car, I got the thing for $30 so my expectations were basically none existent(I have 2 Kicker CVR 10″s on a Fosgate 1500w amp). But went I hooked this thing up to a Visonik 350 watt amp I was impressed, it have a very clean bass and the hits were solid at moderate volume the sound quality was nearly as good as my Kickers(That cost like 4 times as much each).that probably is the best in its price range. No one thought it was one 8 in a tube.

Conclusion- Im not gonna lie to you and say its a 5 star sub. But really I’ve heard several cheap subs, and you’re NOT gonna get one until you step up and pay nearly $100 each or more. BUT, The Lanzar MAX8 has a very good quality sound that is probably the best in its price range. Most likely do to the quad layer voice coil. Great for wanting to round off a system if your on a budget. But dont be expecting to be rattling the guy beside you’s windows with one of these. Buyers be aware that even thought this is a 4 layer VC sub, you wire it as a SVC sub.
