I purchased these speakers to replace my blown out stock speakers for my 99 Forester. The speakers work great and sound great. You can hear new parts to your music that I could not get with my old speakers. The sound is crisp, clear, and the bass hits hard. I would suggest though that if you are to purchase these speakers you will also need a amp for them or you will not get the full potential out of them. My deck only puts out 50 watts, so I had to get an amp to get up towards that 260 watt mark. installation was fairly easy, just had to drill some new holes in the door to get them to fit snug. I would definitely recommend this product.

Bought these to add, to the back passenger area of a 08 Toyota FJ cruiser. There were no speakers in this area and Custom Modifications were made to accomadate a speaker of this size. I was wanting component speakers, but space limitation prevented this. I ordered these on a whim. They Sounded better and drive better than I had expected.

I always like this brand, so for a car speaker, always go for a Pioneer, no, I don’t work for Pioneer or paid by, it’s just I followed this brand grow right after they made the first car stereo. Many people looked for it, after decades it ceased production of that model. So, from that on I am firm believer of Pioneer. This speaker I got from Amazon is not different from the rest that Pioneer makes.

I was told by several retailers and read reviews about these speakers.

I replaced my factory speakers with these and got little results. Bass is horrible, I know they are only 6.5″ but I got very little bump from these. Mid-range is OK, they do get loud. Highs are good, of course the tweeter is over an inch.

At one time I bought some 5.25″ Clarion Speakers for another vehicle. I paid a quarter of the price and the sound was amazing. I would think these High end Pioneers would compete with that, but not even close.
