This speaker was purchased to replace my old JBL speaker that started popping. So far it is working superb. Only complaint is that the vinyl grain finish is coming up slightly at the box joints or edges, but I felt I could live with this since the speaker is so well crafted otherwise. Great sound, handles load effortlessly.
