Don’t get me wrong, these are not going to give you the bass response of a sub. But if you simply can’t put a sub in, get these. I was floored. The sound quality is excellent all around. Absolutely superb speakers.

I got these to replace my 09 Toyota Highlander stock el cheapo front door speakers. First off I must say I am using a Clarion NX500 radio and pushing these with a Rockford Fosgate P400-4 amp. The musicality of these speakers is incredible. They have very tight and controlled bass down to about 50hz and the mid bass and highs are punchy and crystal clear respectively. I built baffles out of plexiglass and used the supplied spacers to provide the needed amount of spacing to clear the window regulator, but it was definitely worth the effort, as these jewels rock. I can’t say enough good things about these speakers, a definite bargain at Amazons price or anywhere close to this price. Paid $120 shipped and would by them for more if I had anywhere else to put them.

I just installed these in my 07 Tacoma and immediately noticed much improved mid-range and highs. The bass improvement over stock was a little better, but nothing to brag about (if you want real bass, you’ll need a subwoofer). The sound is clear with no noticeable distortion, much clearer than stocks.
These speakers were delivered quickly and in perfect shape. Highly recommended.
