Well i was planning to buy the older model(307d2) but i saw this newer model has better stats and is just couple dollars more and it would be more valuable in the long run. I knew i wouldnt be able to run this one sub at full power due to me using a 4ch amp to save money and only use one amp. My amp is rated 80w rms x 4 and bridged at 225w rms x 2, so i use it to power 2 speakers and sub bridged in a 1.5cu vented box. I didn’t want build a really loud system to avoid cops & tickets but during the breaking period of sub, i got a ticket lol. At only half the power, it rattle everything and set alarms off plus a nice massage, but thats not the only reason i brought it. It adds the missing link to all the music i listen too and it sounds great and this is my first system i did it all myself and im happy with it, im thinking about adding another sub but i would need another amp but that can wait for now

In a 1.25 cf pre-made sealed hatchback box in my 04 Taurus’s trunk. Powered by an old Power Acoustik stereo amp with a 20-amp fuse (maybe 120 watts @ 4 ohms full blast). The driver is wired to the amp, which is bridged, in series for 4 ohms. This setup pounds the poop out of my car. My mirror jumps with kick drum hits. Putting the rear seats down is awesome. Double bass drumming is epic through this thing. Never misses a beat or note. Hits very, very quick and all the way down low. Nothing has made it quit yet. I don’t have a huge amp on it but it’s really loud as it is and you would be heard before they see you coming if you hit this woofer with all 400 watts. Guess I better hook up my MB Quart RAB1450 @ 1 ohm and see what it’ll do! This speaker is perfect for rock, electronic music, or rap. Very musical and transparent. All you get is a clear, accurate, musical slam. My only complaint is that it won’t slam out higher notes like a smaller, less poundingly awesome driver. I mean midbass, or whatever, like an 8 or even 6 1/2 inch drivers. The 250-500 Hz range is good for bass solos and low guitar riffs but this sub just does one thing: Pound low ground. Oh well, I’ll add good coaxials or a midbass later on when I can afford it. In short, I would recommend this woofer to anyone with ears.

Great sub for the money!(Best Price ive found on this one)

I have an older 800W pioneer on it so its actually underpowered a little bit (Amp = 360rms sub = 400rms) but it can still beat and raddle the inside nicly. Not a whole lot of outside sound butthats what its not about.

Like I said the inside sound sounds great and is LOW.
