Will definitely purchase from this seller again; my order was received the day after I ordered it via UPS Ground – thank you! Surprisingly good sound from a 4″ dash speaker; did not expect any kind of bass response using my indash Blaupunkt head unit with no external amp but it’s better than I expected for cheap money. The snapoff mounting tabs made for a perfect fit in my 84 Mercedes 300d; took less than 20 minutes to install both sides.

The speakers arrived in a timely fashion, and they appear to be well made–wouldn’t expect less from Pioneer. I only installed them two days ago, and they sound better than the original Toyota speakers–they should since the originals are now 22 years old. I’ll update my review when I’ve listened to them more.

Pioneer really never fails you. Though small, this speaker sounds incredibly clean and with a good amplifier reaches some high volumes and still manages to maintain clarity. Great buy! Pioneer all the way!

I had some old blaupunkt speakers, the surrounds on them had deteriorated so I decided to replace them with these pioneer speakers. wow what a mistake buying the pioneer speakers. They actually sound worse than the blaupunkts that were ‘blown’ I kid you not.
They do not fit in toyota’s as is listed in the product description. As a previous customer stated, you have to angle the screws to get it to fit in a toyota.
I will be getting rid off the pioneers. I’m buying the Polk Audio speakers. Sure more money, but well worth it. I should have bought the polks to begin with.

I replaced them with my stock speaker and you really can tell the differences. Stock wiring works on them. Well worth the $30
