The Pyle 6×9’s sound good for being Pyle’s lower line. They’re a good, inexpensive way to upgrade your blown factory speakers. I wouldn’t try to push them but they work well on a head unit or small amp.

I make my own speaker enclosures of 3/4 inch solid oak and maple for use in the home and as gifts. I am at work on my fourth set. I started using the Pyle’s because, when I ordered 2 for my truck, I got 4. They were just sitting there looking at me so I made an enclosure. Everyone who heard the speakers in the enclosure was impressed. The Pyle 693’s have a crisp sound in a vehicle, not deep and buttery. The heavier wood turns their tone deeper and richer.
