I used this box with a 10″ Infinity sub and it sounds like butter! Note: The screws are hidden inside, although my box was missing 2 screws thus the minus of a star. Quality construction though!

I am very impressed with the box considering the low price. It really is 3/4″ think MDF, so it is very solid. I have owned a few different brand boxes in the past and i have NO regrets whatsoever in buying this one. It would be hard to even build a box of this quality for less than the price here.

I should have listened to MK3’s review. He/She was right about the box not being true MDF. I should know what MDF is. I have a 4×8′ sheet of it in my garage that I bought from T.H.D. It is extremely heavy and solid. If this box was made from it, it would weigh over 20lbs it only weights maybe 10lbs. China does not have the same standard for MDF as the US. This is more like a hybrid Particle/Fiber board

That said, hopefully it will sound alright for the time being. I only bought this for temporary use until I build a custom box and decide on a good sub. It comes with some polyfill but you will likely need to add more to benefit from it. Interestingly this box comes wired for not only a sub but also for a 12v internal accessory (I can’t think of any uses other than for a lighted subwoofer) Although it may be a source for an air leak but I have not been able to test this yet. The push terminals and speaker wire seem to be of decent quality and I do not feel the need to replace them with better parts for the 300w rms Kenwood Ill be putting in to it. Once I upgrade from this temporary speaker/box combo this box will stay with the Kenwood sub where ever it ends up.

Make sure you feel around under the polyfill for all the mounting screws they were all over the place. I can imagine that these will make noise or a rattle if you miss one. Mine came with eight total.

I purchased this enclosure because of the price and was well rewarded with a great item. It is 3/4″ MDF and doesn’t flex. I’m not a 1000Watt pusing kinda guy, but if you’re putting one 10″ in a single box, you’re not either. Good price, good product!!!

Used a Rockford 10 inch P1 and it sounds great! Enclosure came with all the necessary hardware and took about 10 min to install Lots of room in the trunk to spare!
