I purchased these speakers to use in a custom all weather enclosure. Powered by a Sony Receiver these speakers look and sound great. Highs are crisp and clear, midrange is solid, and low tones carry very well for 6.5″ drivers. For Solid Stereo Sound in an outdoor environment I believe it would be difficult to beat these speakers for the price. JBL continues to impress and I have received the compliments to prove it.

Im not one of those people who needs to hear the music while Im wakeboarding behind the boat. But I do want to hear it when Im in the boat and cruising around. I do want to hear it clearly when the engine is off and Im floating beside the boat. While the sound is much better than the old Clarions I replaced, these speakers did not live up to my expectations. The sound breaks up at higher volumes. they are decent speakers when listening to music inside the boat with the engine off. note: 4 speakers mounted in a 23 ft cruiser.

I bought these speakers to replace some 10 yr old pyramid ones I had on my cruiser, and I must say they sound a whole lot better. They are powered with a clarion M309 set and you get crisp quality sound right up to the highest volume setting. There is no distortion of any kind. I must say Im very happy with this buy. Highly recommended!!

I just replaced the speakers on my party barge with a set of these . Same size but much better sound then the factory tracker speakers. They are powered from a 4×40 watt head unit and sound very clear . After seeing the change from just these, i added 4 jbl 6×9’s (9200 series) and they are all powered by a 250 watt pioneer amp . Man that system rocks with a very clear but loud tone for such low power pushing them. Will be going bigger on the amp and putting all the speakers including the 6.5″ jbls on an amp later on. for now, Excellent speakers

I purchased these JBL MS-6200 marine speakers to replace the Pyramid MDC6 units that were externally mounted by the manufacturer to my ToyHauler Camper RV. Even though these JBLs were better than I really needed, the price was very reasonable and I didn’t want to risk buying the same, or a lesser quality, than the ones being replaced. So before purchasing them, I researched these and found the specifications to be equal or better in every respect. My hope was to play music louder and more clearly with minimal distortion. These surpassed my expectations in apperance, construction quality, and audio performance. It should be noted that the speakers are sold (2) two in a box with some ‘minor’ mounting hardware and two nice lengths of heavy duty electrical cable with insulated spade connectors.
